About Me

I am a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities with a B.S. degree in Technical Writing and Communication and minors in Learning Technologies and Digital Media Studies.  In addition to my training in technical writing, I have experience with agile project management, team leadership, visual storytelling, usability testing, and user-centered design.  I pride myself on my ability to write about complex topics in ways that are accessible and thoughtful on issues impacting real people.

I aspire to work in a technical writing or communications position in which I can use my skills to tell a story through writing and employ human-centered visual design for a target audience.  I am passionate about bringing writing and design together to create multimedia and comprehensive documents to showcase a product or service.  I want my work as a writer and designer to not only inform but also inspire and engage audiences on a deep level.  Additionally, I thrive working independently and strive to be a leader in collaborative environments to craft effective documents that can ultimately enhance user experiences.

In my free time, I enjoy walking outdoors, reading The New York Times, playing the NYT's Spelling Bee, and exploring the Twin Cities.
